Hope Comes Home
“Hope’s home is at the innermost point in us, and in all things. It is a quality of aliveness. It does not come at the end, as the feeling that results from a happy outcome. Rather, it lies at the beginning, as a pulse of truth that sends us forth…. Hope fills us with the strength to stay present, to abide in the flow of the Mercy no matter what outer storms assail us. It is entered always and only through surrender; that is, through the willingness to let go of everything we are presently clinging to.”- Cynthia Bourgeoult
What a beautiful writing! Lately, with life's ups, downs and turnarounds, I’ve had a hard time tapping into the “hope” that she writes about above. Personal moments of doubt, distress, family sufferings and the world at large make it hard to stay connected to our aliveness, to have faith and definitely to surrender. I’m letting hope back in with my body - it’s strength and resilience, with my mind - it’s power and purpose and with my spirit - it’s unseen knowing. When do you feel most connected to your HOPE? I know I do when I’m dancing, sometimes that’s the only place I have access to it. I thank all of you who celebrate their aliveness with me in this way. I wish you my very best and to remember hope’s home within all of us❣️ With love ~Ami
