Event Summary:
We will review the basic principles of SE, EFT, Hypnosis, fungi and various plant medicines and how they target the mechanisms producing and maintaining Functional Neurological Disorders and Functional Illnesses. We will delineate specific steps to participate in designing observational studies to document their efficacy.
Learning Objectives:
To remember the mechanisms of disease production that permeate Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) and Functional Illnesses (FI), also known as conversion, psychogenic or psychosomatic diseases (older nomenclature)
To review the basic principles of SE, EFT, hypnosis

To analyze the benefits and challenges to introduce various modalities to one's clinical practice
