Tamalpa Experience: Life/Art Dances with Rosario Sammartino

**We are announcing upcoming programs with awareness and the understanding that we may need to cancel programs in responsible action to safeguard the health of all in our community. We are staying updated and current with all of the latest news on a daily basis.

Held at the historic Mountain Home Studio, Kentfield, California

15 Ravine Way
Kentfield, CA 94904

How does your life shape your dance? How does your dance shape your life? How can movement inspire and renew your creativity?

In the Tamalpa Life / Art Process, movement and life are intertwined. The body contains our life experiences and movement is our primary language. When we dance, we say something about our lives. When we dance our lives, we also connect with the creative forces that live within and open to new ways of expressing who we are.

In this introductory workshop, participants are introduced to The Tamalpa Life/ Art Process, an approach that enlivens dialogue between body and imagination, and life experiences and art making. Using somatic-based movement, drawing, poetic writing, and improvisational performance, participants will tap into art’s symbolic language to explore current life themes and generate new resources.
