Training Description
This workshop will explore how our experiences get processed throughout our whole bodymind system.  Experiences happen to us on 5 different levels of our being such as the gross matter of the body, our emotions, our thought patterns, behavior and more.  These 5 levels are separate but intrinsically connected.

We will explore how our experiences get processed on these levels, and why sometimes we are able to learn from and transform experience, while other times we can seem stuck in old, especially patterns from our early life.  This often leads to anxiety or depression or other symptoms that hold us back in our lives and keep us from experiencing our vital life energy.

This is an experiential somatic workshop for both professionals and people wanting to transform old belief systems and feel more alive!  Participants will have the opportunity to recognize how they block their own life energy and take steps toward opening.  We will work with movement and guided meditations, exercises in small groups, as well as with sessions in front of the group to demonstrate the somatic and developmental theory that causes people to create belief systems and form life patterns from their early experiences, and how to use our physiological processes to transform them. Seattle School of Body-Psychotherapy’s curriculum incorporates neurobiology and trauma therapy into body-psychotherapy to provide a deep understanding of the change process.  Aylee also brings her understanding of other techniques which employ creativity and spirituality to enhance the journey.
