Purpose
The purpose of the Research Committee is to support research education and dissemination, as well as collaboration among clinicians, academics, and researchers in the field of somatic psychology and body-mind practices. The following are services and research references the committee supports:
- Brief Research Consultation Sessions, up to 1 hour in length, are available with Cynthia or Aaron on projects that are in process or in the planning stage. Consultation meetings can be scheduled directly with either Cynthia or Aaron.
- We recommend the following online research training courses to learn about research literacy and the importance of research in psychology. These are: Counseling Therapy Research or Danish Research Course.
- Any USABP training organization may contact the Research Committee if interested in inquiring about a live course or a webinar on research in body psychotherapy. Contact us and we will discuss this with you.
