Mission Statement
The Guided Self Healing Training Institute exists to facilitate the process of integrated presence and growth through individual and collective healing, experiential workshops and training courses. The Institute also promotes the growth of Guided Self Healing as a specific healing modality. We do this by developing and supporting trainers and practitioners, collaborating with other organizations, and expanding the development of the work itself. GSH is established as a service organization committed to doing its part to bring peace, compassion and understanding to the world.

Vision Statement
Our vision is a world where people are empowered to heal themselves and have an understanding of themselves and others, so that they have greater awareness and acceptance of, and compassion for, who they and others are. GSH is recognized as a leading service organization helping to create and sustain this world.

In this world, people understand how to access the wisdom of the body in order to affect their healing and how to be present, rather than losing themselves in longing, fear or self-forgetting. We teach everyone the basics of self healing and the basis for tolerance, and, for those that qualify themselves, the methodology to support people when they require/desire guidance to heal, grow and be whole.

Our intention is to broaden the scope of the field of Psychology to a more integrated model where “beingness” is foundational rather than the thought, emotion and behavior that are a part of it.

We offer two types of Services/Programs:
We offer Healing and Growth Services where we facilitate you in the very powerful GSH process. In this format we work with individuals, couples, families, groups (healing circles and retreats) and organizations to help them become what they are intending in the world primarily by releasing traumatic blocks.

Secondly, we offer Training Programs to learn how to facilitate the healing process and to learn the Enneagram, a profoundly useful framework for understanding ourselves and others with greater compassion while initiating us into living with greater freedom. There is an experiential component to these programs so people do their own healing and growth work while opening to a more expansive worldview and learning skill-based tools to use for themselves and others.

Testimonials

Andrew Hahn, Psy.D., Founder is a licensed clinical psychologist. He received his A.B. Magna Cum Laude in Social Studies/Psychology from Harvard University and his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University. He is certified by Helen Palmer to teach the Enneagram and has also been a faculty member in the graduate Counselling Programs at Lesley University and Northeastern University.

In 1997, after several years of witnessing the power of the work, Dr. Hahn developed the Guided Self Healing Training program for those who want to facilitate and/or teach this process. Today, Dr. Hahn has a private practice in Lexington, MA; speaks, teaches and leads trainings and healing groups internationally; and continues his untiring effort to better understand what is going on for people so that he can better help them live more contented and healthier lives.
